It had no washing instructions on the package and no label on the protector itself with washing instructions – guess it’s too hard to give guidelines like that. Thankfully, as I’ve bought many of these covers in my time, I knew what to do. But for someone who hasn’t, it could be tricky! They might unknowingly throw it in the dryer on too high of a heat and cause some damage. All the same, I’m giving it two stars.

If it can keep you dry, it’s worth considering! The fabric feels soft and it fits well, but I haven’t tested it to see if liquids will seep through. I read a review where someone said their dog wet on it, and apparently that caused it to leak – yikes! I’m kind of worried because it doesn’t feel as much like rubber as I’d expect, but I’m not willing to find out by pouring water on it myself. If it can maintain a dry surface, it’s definitely a good buy!
