I really liked the concept behind this product. The emery board included is of good quality and would be effective if used correctly. However, my dog found a different way to use it by spinning it with her nose instead of using her paws. I wish there was a way to increase the resistance because it feels a bit loose. Additionally, I was not completely satisfied with the overall quality of the materials used. Unfortunately, this product did not meet my expectations.

Great product! The entire top is made of a nail file type material which is fantastic for the dogs. It provides good grip and helps keep their nails from getting too long. I like to break up a treat and place a small piece into each hole, then let the dogs play with it a few times. They are starting to figure it out and love using it!

My dog is not a fan of getting his nails trimmed, so I was excited to try the nail grinder for him. Initially, he used his nose to get more treats out, but once my husband adjusted the screw properly, he started using his paws. It seems like he’s actually filing his nails down with this thing! When my dog is preoccupied, my cat even takes her turn because she loves the treats. Despite never using a scratching post in 13 years, she seems to really enjoy this nail grinder.

Dog paws kinda gross me out, but I’m really happy that I don’t have to struggle with filing my dog’s nails anymore thanks to this product. He’s able to file them down himself now.

Our puppy absolutely adores this nail-filing, treat-hiding puzzle toy! He quickly figured out how to use it and it kept him entertained for a good while. It definitely helped file his nails somewhat, thanks to the rough top surface, but he seemed blissfully unaware as he chewed on treats. While he only used his front paws to play with the toy, his back paw nails should be fine from regular walks outside. I appreciate that it’s black instead of bright colors, as it fits well in our kitchen next to his bowls. Just a heads up, it can get a bit noisy when he’s using it to file his nails and find treats, but seeing him happy makes it worth it!

I typically rely on an electric nail grinder for my dog, but I find it challenging to keep up with. I love that they can utilize this scratching board to file their nails themselves. It keeps them active and entertained instead of bored and listless. The durability of the product has impressed me, and it is larger than I originally expected. I highly recommend adding this to your dog care arsenal.

We purchased this product to help with our 3-month-old puppy’s nails because we wanted to prevent them from being sharp. Our puppy uses it sometimes, but she seems to have difficulty with it and gives up easily if she doesn’t get it right away. Additionally, the grippy bottom parts are supposed to prevent sliding, but we still experience quite a bit of slippage.

This nail grinder is a lifesaver for dogs who hate nail trims. Plus, it can also be used as an enrichment toy! I’ve noticed a big difference in my dog’s nail sharpness since using it. It works great for my small dog, but my larger dog struggles a bit with it.

I purchased this nail file dog toy to keep my pup entertained and I appreciated how it was made specifically for filing nails. At first, my dog didn’t quite understand how to use it and tried to bite the knob like her other toys. But once she figured out how to spin the disc and get a treat as a reward, she enjoyed it more. However, the downside is that the toy doesn’t stay in place and keeps moving around on the floor. It would be better if it had suction cup feet or some other way to keep it stable.

The multifaceted dog toy with grooming benefits is a great idea and I hope they come up with a version for larger dogs. We purchased this for our Catahoula puppy who always struggles with nail trims, and it worked really well as a puzzle to keep her busy and focused. However, she managed to get the treats with just her nose instead of using her paws. I’m giving it 4 stars because I think the concept has potential for improvement, like maybe creating a model that can be mounted vertically for bigger dogs. I am looking forward to using this with my upcoming Westie puppy and will definitely recommend it to my friends with smaller breeds.

Our beloved kitty has been putting on some weight recently, so we were on the lookout for something to help her stay active while eating. This scratch pad has been a lifesaver! She quickly caught on that her food is inside and now she happily paws and scratches to turn the dial and get to her treats. Not only is it keeping her entertained, but it’s also helping her to slow down while eating. I highly recommend this snack scratch pad for any dog or cat owners out there – it’s definitely worth it!

I was surprised by how rough the texture on the top of this toy feels, like sandpaper. I have a morkie who is 15 pounds and he usually dislikes getting his nails trimmed, but he seems to enjoy playing with this toy. I can see scratch marks on the pad, so I know it’s doing its job. It may take some training for pets who aren’t used to interactive toys like this one. There are many pockets to fill with treats, so it will keep them entertained for a while.

Initially, I had doubts about whether this product could actually help keep my dog’s front nails trimmed and if my dog would understand how to use it. However, I can happily say that it does work! It only took my dog about half a minute to figure it out, and once he did, he was off scratching away to get to his favorite treats hidden inside. The only suggestion I have for improvement is adding rubber grips on the bottom to prevent it from sliding around. My dog has to use it on a carpet or against a wall or furniture to get the right leverage needed to scratch and turn the wheel for the treats. It has definitely made a difference in keeping my dog’s front nails trimmed, so I don’t have to do as much grinding or clipping myself. However, it doesn’t help with the back nails, so those still require trimming by me or the groomer.

I bought this scratch pad for my two chihuahuas, but unfortunately it hasn’t been very effective. My dogs haven’t quite figured out how to scratch on it to file their nails like I had hoped. Instead, they just nudge at it with their noses until they can reach the treat. Hopefully with more time, they will eventually learn to use it properly. But for now, it doesn’t seem to be working as intended.

So my pups absolutely despise getting their nails clipped, but they go crazy for treats. That’s why I thought this product would be a perfect solution. However, there is definitely a bit of a learning curve with using this tool. It’s taking some time to get the hang of it, so don’t expect instant results. I’m still figuring out how to use it on their back nails, but for now, having some nails filed down is better than none at all.

I thought this toy would provide a good challenge for my dogs and help with their nails. Surprisingly, all three of my dogs were able to move the disk using just their noses, without ever needing to use their paws. While it may not be as effective for their nails as I had hoped, it’s still a fun game to play for treats.

My Russian Blue cat is extremely curious and smart, so she needs challenges to keep her engaged. This puzzle feeder has been a hit with her! It’s perfect for making her work for her food, just like she would if she were hunting prey. The scratching top also provides the traction she needs. However, the scratch surface could be rougher to really help file her claws. I only fill each section with a few kibbles a few times a day to prevent her from eating too quickly and getting sick. I also alternate using empty plastic spice bottles to split up her meals. She loves having small frequent meals throughout the day. Overall, I highly recommend this puzzle feeder – your cat will love it!

I have a 6 months old German shepherd puppy and he’s a handful to train. He doesn’t follow instructions well, especially when it comes to using his paws to push the wheel of this toy. He prefers biting and pushing it with his nose or even tossing it around like a ball until the food spills out. Despite his antics, I can see the potential of this toy and how it could be beneficial for his development.

Love this product for keeping my dog’s nails short, but I noticed that the spinning part could be a bit tighter. My dog likes to use his paws to spin it, but sometimes he uses his nose instead. I think if the dial didn’t spin as easily, he would rely on his paws more to use it.
